Isha Cogborn is the founder of Epiphany Institute, a professional development company devoted to helping people create a career they love.
She realized this was her life’s work when she was the employee communications manager at a Fortune 50 global corporation. She loved telling the stories of employees and teams making an impact and helping everyone in the company see their ability to influence the success of the organization. In fact, “call Isha” was synonymous with doing something noteworthy.
But she didn’t always love her work. As she got promoted, it moved her away from assignments aligned to her passions and strongest talents. Work began to feel like drudgery, and she didn’t always exercise her power to change it. Now, she works with managers and individual contributors to create an environment where people feel emotionally connected to their work, operating with more passion, creativity, and commitment.
As a certified business and life coach, strategist and business consultant, Isha’s clients include Fortune 100 corporations, professional organizations, entrepreneurs, and subject-matter experts.
Throughout her career, Isha has had a seat at the table with senior leaders, co-creating strategies around employee communications, media relations, environmental operations, community relations, and marketing communications at global and regional levels. She has also been a part of teams that have managed delicate issues like mergers and acquisitions, labor strikes, and reorganizations.
She’s the author of several personal development books, including 5 Rules to Win Being You and On Purpose: Strategies to Live and Lead. As a personal brand consultant, Isha combines her corporate experience with a background in media, publishing and professional speaking to help leaders and subject-matter experts deliver greater impact internally and externally.
A Michigan native, Isha now lives in Mesa, Arizona. She earned a degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University and coaching certifications from Coach University and Compass Life & Business Designs.
